Cecilia slumped into a seat at the Gryffindor table, sighing to herself - her mind was working overtime: exams, dark arts club, Leo's note, holidays, family... blah, blah, blah. "I wish I was a cat." She muttered, "I'd just curl up in the sun and just sleep while people petted me."

Best sleep of my life, he stretched his arms before stepping in and nodded at the Bloody Baron who seemed content with the house points.

"No worries, Sir, we will always be the best, pureblood power!" he said proudly and stepped inside.
Head desk was full of teacher who have been discussing how long it takes to read the exams and what they were planning to do for next year's schedule. Vine ignored all of them except for Snape, he nodded curtly and took his seat at the Slytherin table.

'You want people to pet you?' Leo snorted as she walked inside. 'That's one I've never heard of before.' She grinned as she sat down opposite Cel. 'How's the Arithmancy going?'

She eyed Vine with an air of mild disgust and turned away to rest her head back on the table and continue to think about exams - Arithmancy was all she had left. Why did they teach us so much this year? She thought, trying to remember everything.
She looked at Leo with sunken eyes, "Terribly. Nah - I'll be fine. I was more worried about my Muggle Studies exam to be honest."

She glanced over at the Slytherin table. She shifted uncomfortably, before looking back at Cel, plastering a wide smile on her face. 'Well, if you got through Muggle Studies alright, you'll absolutely thrash Arithmancy.'

She snorted, "You mean, if I wrote down something for every single question... which I did. I had no idea what the last two questions were - but they were only two marks. Muggle technology... honestly..."

Vine leaned back in his chair and gestured at a third year student, "My coffee." said pointing at the cup standing next to the fruit bowl. Student stoop up and grinned, "Sure!"
Vine laughed, "Good, there is still hope for younger generations, they know how to act when a Lestrange orders. Not all purebloods are on the same scale." said looking at little Malfoy.

She laughed. 'Muggle technology's not that bad. You have to admire how they get along without magic. Although, some of it, I don't think I'd ever understand.' she frowned.

"I wandered into a Muggle town near to where the Nott manor was once... I was bored and my family were being... well..." She shrugged. "Anyway, it was amazing... how different they were. I felt really ignorant thought - which is why I took the subject." She laughed.

She nodded. 'Yeah ... I'm more familiar with Muggle technology than some -' she glanced over at Lestrange, '-would like ... being, well, brought up around it, and all.' She busied herself with pouring a goblet of mango juice.

He took a sip and closed his eyes, "Taste of heaven...Like muggles say." He laughed and looked around, Ravenclaw table was almost empty, Hufflepuffs were talking about their group trip to a Muggle greenhouse, he sneered at the thought and then looked at the Gryffindor table, Cel and Leo were there. He noticed Leo's brief glance and decided to smile at them both, raising the coffee cup and mouthed "cheers".

Lestrange has raised his cup. Leo couldn't help but sense mockery in his action ... Or was that just her being paranoid again? She raised an eyebrow subtly, before raising her own goblet briefly and turning away. 'There's something about that guy ...' she muttered.

Don't react, Cecilia thought to herself as she caught the action out of the corner of her eye. Instead she ignored him and turned back to Leo. "What was it like... growing up around muggles? I can't imagine it would've been very... fun."

Leo leant back in her seat, frowning. 'It had its moments. But it was difficult ...'
She trailed off, lost in thoughts and memories. She drank a bit of her juice.

She nodded - it would've been. People didn't like what was different and strange and unknown - and to muggles, that's exactly what wizards were. "It's no wonder so many people feel threatened by them," she muttered to herself, swirling her coffee.

He started humming a song and pretending he is listening to the conversations around him.
He was in good mood, nothing could spoil it, he was almost glad that he was repeating the year,
"Flint, next year, get Malfoy in the team, his coward daddy is rich, we could make use of it."

She nodded, still musing. 'Yeah ... I suppose. I just don't understand the need to constantly insist that they're unworthy to us ... I don't know, maybe growing up almost like a Muggle myself gave me a different perspective.' She shrugged and drank the rest of her juice. 'I almost know what they have to go through.'

Ooc: is this continuing or what? Because if not, then I'm probably going to head of to the land of dreams (with much caution, given my recent record)

ooc, Sorry - yeah I need to sleep too.

Cecilia yawned, standing. "Well, I'm off to bed. My last exam tomorrow - I want to be awake for it." She grinned, "Speak to you tomorrow, Leo... over butterbeer." She laughed and headed off for the exit.

'I'll hold you up to that,' she called out after Cel, before laughing and turning back to the table.

(and then half an hour later or something she went up to bed as well, and dreamt of happy things. HAPPY THINGS.)

He finally finished his lunch and picked up the daily prophet. There wasn't much, just the news about Quirrel disappearing and a funny caricature of Dumbledore looking for a new DADA teacher and a woman saying how it is cursed. He smiled and turned the page, he was hoping Professor Snape would take the position next year, everyone knew he wanted it more than anything but somehow he never had the opportunity.

She walks down to the great hall and sits at the Ravenclaw table stretching. I really need to learn how to sleep in my own bed instead of these weird places. But at least it wasn't the floor or the astronomy tower this time. She grabs a pear from the table in front of her and bites into it. She looks up and down the table and sees no one she wants to talk to so she opens a book and begins reading.
