5 essays, and I haven't done anything. Gellert whined and hugged a random claw sitting next to him, he drew his face closer and looked with despair, "I need...I need to be imperiod if I am ever going to do these assignments. There is no other way. I am the..worst procrastinator you can ever meet."
He pulled one parchment out of his bag and held it in the air, like it was contaminated, "Death is staring at me. Absolute horror."

She was back. Glacier stood in the doorway, looking over at the Great Hall. She took a deep breath. She could already feel the filth of the Mudbloods in the air. She restrained a shudder as she walked in. But there was no going back now. Glacier had confessed to Karkaroff about the lacing of the apples and the pies with Drink of Despair before she had left - the very same Drink of Despair that she had stolen from Snape's stores. She smiled at the memory, glancing at the Potion Master as she moved inside.
Of course, she had taken all the blame herself - Karkaroff knew nothing about Scamander's involvement. Scamander was free to conduct all the experiments she wanted should she choose. But this meant that Glacier couldn't return to Durmstrang, even if she wanted to. She was stuck here - thankfully, it would only be for a year.

"Holy..mother of all Hipogriffs, Glacier!" Gellert exclaimed and almost tripped when he suddenly sprinted towards the doorway, "Wow...Hi."
He grinned and ruffled his hair carelessly, looking at her.

Of course, the first person I run into has to be Grindelwald. Glacier stared at him as he almost tripped over his own feet as he rushed towards her. 'Hello.' She raised an eyebrow and looked around. The students seemed to be a little tense, but only because she was looking for it. If students were being attacked, the fear should have been thick in the air. 'I got your owl.' She looked back at Gellert. 'You owe me an explanation. That hint? It could have meant anything.' Glacier folded her arms, looking at Gellert sharply. 'Was it like Grindelwald's Dark Mark? He shot it into the sky wherever he killed?'

She walked into the hall and looked around to make sure there weren't too many people there. To her delight there were only two people who looked like they were deep in conversation.
YAY, Alone time
She rushed over to the Hufflepuff table and sat down. Picking and a muffin and nibbling on it while she reached into her robes. Pulled out a book and started reading.

"You got my owl and came all the way down here for an explanation?" he cocked his eyebrow and smiled. He was sure she would at least reply to him and he was quite surprised to see her embracing her slytherin colors.
Grindelwald's dark mark, he wished it was that simple.
"Glacier." he said with an unusual serious voice, "It is the solution."

'Obviously not, if I wanted just an explanation, I would have sent you an owl,' Glacier said in a clipped tone. 'No, I also want to know more about this ... Chamber.' Her eyes swept the Hall again. 'I've heard about writing on the wall, what is that?' Glacier narrowed her eyes at Gellert. 'Don't play word games with me, Grindelwald. The solution to what?'

Gellert didn't really care about the Chamber, talking about it was just too mainstream. He shrugged indifferently, "The Chamber of Secrets has been opened, enemies of the heir beware." said with a dull tone, then his voice change again.
"The solution to the hint I gave you. We still have that dinner, right? Or have you changed your mind?"

'The solution to the hint? The solution to ... death.' Glacier folded her arms, her eyes gazing at a reading Hufflepuff without actually seeing her. Well, this could be interesting. 'Dinner? Oh yes.' Glacier sighed. 'I suppose. But if you tell me nothing useful, I will curse you all the way back to Durmstrang.'

"Yes? Cool. I am full of surprises, Glacier. I think you know at least that about me, you shan't be disappointed." he smiled picturing Glacier in a place like three broomsticks, no, it just didn't suit her.

Glacier stared evenly at Gellert. Was he full of surprises? The necklace had certainly surprised her. 'I'd better not be.' She looked back at the muffin-eating Hufflepuff, wondering if Gellert knew that she had been the one who had "sabotaged" the welcome party, and, if he did, why he was so eager to eat with her. 'I don't believe I ever asked you why.' Glacier moved to let a student walk past, giving them a wide berth - for all she knew, they could have been a Mudblood. 'Why me, Grindelwald?'

She walks into the hall and sees two people from Durmstrang.
I did not go to a new school to talk to old people.
Then she walked out.

Why you. Her question caught him off guard. He smiled as friendly a smile as he could, “No reason.” he shrugged, “It just..happened. It wasn’t my decision.” said genuinely. Glacier was probably expecting things that would make her feel even more superior than others, things that would feed her ego.

'Of course it was your decision. It was your decision to send me the necklace, your decision to dance with me, your decision to give me this damn symbol.' Glacier scowled.

Oh, that. It was pretty obvious, any outsider would be able to tell why Gellert wanted to have a connection with her.
"Are you asking me why I like you?" he blurted out, feeling a bit odd. He wasn't being sarcastic. It wasn't his nature to be sarcastic.

Was she? 'Something along those lines.' It wouldn't change her perception of Gellert, she just wanted to know. And maybe see if she'd be able to change it, so this sort of thing didn't happen again.

"Would you ask Jaq the same question if he did the same thing to you...or let's say Lars?" he offered her two extreme choices. Jaq, an example of someone better than Gellert, Lars someone she would probably kill if he ever did anything like that.
He wanted to know what he meant for Glacier.

'Lars?' she snorted. 'That obnoxious troll?' What would she do? 'I'd play with him. Probably teach him a lesson. And Jaq?' She paused. 'I would curse him - and then tell him to get smarter. Jaq knows better than that.' She thought about Jaq for a moment. Glacier wondered if he had gotten bored and stopped playing games yet. She felt a little twinge of regret she wouldn't be around to see Jaq play his different sort of game.

"So you have yet to curse me or play with me?" he asked, tilting his head.

'The only reason I have not done so yet is that you have provided me with a ... distraction.' Glacier frowned. 'Yes, you could say I'm using you. You would be a fool to think otherwise - and you're not a fool, are you, Gellert?' She raised an eyebrow, tilting her head to the side.

He shook his head tossing his hair slightly, as he smiled.
"I'd rather be a fool than mediocre. I am afraid I can't give you an explanation on why I like you, I guess I am pranking myself."

She snorted. 'Suit yourself, Gellert. Just don't expect anything in return.' She moved over to the Slytherin table, sitting down in a seat there. She found that it was somewhat similar to her usual seat at Durmstrang - back to the wall, with an unimpeded view of most of the Hall. While she did not miss Durmstrang in the slightest, she couldn't deny it comforted her slightly.

Gellert smiled, "There is nothing to expect." said and moved back to the Ravenclaw table.
He wondered what Dumbledore felt about the sudden transfer of all these Durmstrang students at such suspicious times.
His gaze fell on the head desk and grimaced. How did he feel about Gellert? Poor old Dumbledore.

Remington couldn't decide where to go. There were so many rooms, so many secret passages to explore that he didn't know where to begin. Plus, Remington found that exploring by himself was often boring - he didn't have an audience, and no one to enjoy the fun with. He waltzed into the Hall, hoping he could find someone in here. He hadn't been able to find Dimitri, who was probably holed up in that dirty old dungeon of a common room. Remington chuckled to himself at the thought as he picked up a Cauldron Cake and threw it up and down.

Gellert waved excitedly at Rem, Glacier had left earlier, he pretended to read a book when she made her way out of the hall. Everything was already too awkward. He wondered why he was punishing himself like that, when there were other witches around him who would at least give him a genuine smile.
