Appearance: Long light blonde hair, sometimes worn up but often left loose. Large blue eyes which look really innocent when she opens them wide. Year round tan from winter in the Alps and summer in Cannes. Rarely seen without her make-up on.

Personality: When people first meet Melody, she comes across as sweet and timid. However, her innocent appearance is incredibly deceptive, as behind it lurks a malicious temperament with a knack for coming up with scathing put-downs and a strong sense of superiority. Yet she is so adept at playing the helpless victim that she seems to be above suspicion. She also hides her real intelligence by acting empty-headed and vacuous. But the Sorting Hat saw her true colours, and placed her in Ravenclaw. Melody speaks both French and English fluently.

Backstory: Melody was born into a word of privilege. She lives in a grand manor house in Northumberland, and has never wanted for anything. She has attended all-girls boarding schools in France since she was five, and used to be the 'Queen' of her school's in-clique, where she was the ringleader of many a case of bullying towards other girls. All that changed when she discovered that she had magic. Now she struggles to fit in as a Mudblood in a world where Purebloods rule. Since she turned eleven, she attended Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, up until part way through her sixth year. Expelled following an undisclosed indiscretion, she transferred to Hogwarts at the start of this school year, where she has to restart her sixth year again, despite being a year older than her peers, yet another difference that will make it difficult for her to fit in.
