Breakfast is the most important meal [open]

Lucifer trudged tiredly into the hall. He was up all night thinking about the Tyler kid. Growling and seething inside from the thought of Tyler taking away his Basil, he shoved a student out of a random house tables bench and sat in their seat. Glaring heatedly at the table, he summoned a steaming mug of coffee and a piece of toast with lemon curd spread.

Basil sat at the Ravenclaw table, her elbow resting on the table, and her chin resting in her hand. Her nose buried in a book. As she hears a yelp come from farther down the table, she leans back to see what had caused it. Smiling slightly, she gets up from her spot and moves towards the one student out of place. "Surprising seeing you here." She says sitting down besides Lux, forcing three other students to move down the bench.

Lucifer looked dully up from his coffee and smiled slightly when he saw that it was his Basil that greeted him. "Basil." He murmured softly and reached across the table to tuck a strand of hair behind her ear. How he wanted to launch across the table and claim Basil as his in front of the entire student body.

Basil smiles and looks down at the table before looking back up again. "Morning..." She says before leaning forwards on her elbows. She stared at Lux for a while before shaking her head and breaking the trance. "How are you?"

He blinked when Basil leaned over the table and thought. To hell with it. And stood up. He stepped on to the bench, from the bench to the table, walked across the table and settled down beside Basil. "Good morning sweetling." He murmured and buried his face in the crook of Basil's neck. "I'm better than ever. Had a chat with Tyler yesterday. You?"

Basil rubs her eyes as Lux walks across the table and sits down besides her. Shrugging she looks over at the Slytherin who had his face buried into her neck. She smiles softly, but soon the smile begins to fade. "Did you now?" She asked, then bit her tongue before she could say more.

He leaned back and looked at Basil. "Something wrong sweetling?" He reached over and began to play with her hair.

"Nothing at all." She says while looking at him. Turning towards the table, she takes a piece of toast from the center. She takes a bite, then puts it down and turns back to Lux. "You look tired." She says tilting her head to the side.

He looked at Basil for a while longer before reaching over the table for his coffee and toast. "Do I? Well. I do feel a bit drained." He sipped his coffee and turned to Basil. "What about yourself? How are you dear Basil?"

"Drained? Why?" She asks before taking another bite of her toast. "I'm fine. Don't worry about me."

He waved his hand absently. "This and that." Turning to straddle the bench, Lucifer moved closer to Basil and cupped her cheek. "How can I not worry about you? You mean the world to me. I adore you." He stared into Basil's eyes, then blushed lightly and looked away.

Basil smiled. "As you do to me." She bit the inside of her cheek to keep from laughing as Lux turned a light shade of pink. She turns away, pretending not to notice.

ooc -sniffles- You wanted to laugh at me TT_TT

He nodded and coughed. "What have you been up to?" He nibbled at his toast, not really feeling hungry. Well. Certainly not for food.

Ooc: I'm sorry.

Basil shrugs at his question. "This and that. Been here and there. Haven't really been doing one specific thing." She says while reaching for a goblet. She takes a drink of the liquid. Pumpkin juice. She made a face. She was really getting sick of this stuff. Yawning, she places down the goblet and turns back to Lux.

ooc -winks- No worries eh.

He nodded and frowned slightly. Basil was not telling him things. That was new, and unwanted. He scowled into his mug of coffee and took a swig of it. "I see."

Basil shifts a bit uncomfortably on the bench. Lux's mood had seemed to change. Why? She had no idea. "Yup..." She says while her eyes scanned to hall which seemed to be emptying out little by little.

Looking around the hall. He noticed that students must be heading off to class or some other mundane. Taking a bit out of his toast, he chewed thoughtfully before swallowing. "Basil." He mumbled and glanced at her. "I want you to say that you love me."

Basil looked over at Lux a bit curious. Tilting her head to the side, she studied him for a while before saying. "Lux. I love you." The words rolled off her tongue so easily, it was surprising. She leans over and kisses him on the cheek before leaning back and watching him.

He nodded when she said those words. "Do you mean it?" Blinking in surprise when she kissed his cheek. He turned away to hide his blush. Stop it Lucifer! He scolded himself. You're acting like a love struck fool!

Basil nods slowly. " Very much so." A small smile comes to her face as she sees Lux turn away once more. She takes her piece of toast and finishes it off. Then brushes her hands off and looks back over at Lux.

He nodded once more and scratched his cheek. "I'm glad." He whispered.

Basil nods. "I'm glad you're glad." She says, looking at him before her eyes scanned the hall once more. Yawning, she settles down in her seat and rests her hands in her lap.
