Name:Pansy Rose Parkinson
Gender:Female
Age: Eleven
House:Slytherin
Blood Status: Pureblood

Appearance:Pansy has short jet-black hair that is stick straight. For the most part she either wearss it down or in a high short ponytail. Her eyes are large set and almond shaped. They are very dark royal blues that sometimes appear to be almost black in the right light. She has an oval shaped face , with a very prominent chin. Her nose is slightly up-turned, giving her a pug like appearance (Although if you were to ask her she would say it is more aristocratic). Pansy is a bit on the short side, reaching only about 5 foot 3 inch. She isn’t fat by any mean, but has a ‘bit of meat on her bone’. She likes to describe herself as having a curvaceous figure. Her voice is a bit high, and can be down right annoying when she whines or fusses about anything.Much to her dismay, Pansy as small freckles just over the bridge of her nose. She also has a large mole on her right shoulder.

Personality:Pansy is your everyday Slytherin girl. She is mean, catty, rude, self-absorbed, cunning, and all and all a right snot if you ask anyone who knows her. Although she has all of these horrible traits, Pansy is a girl who knows how to play people. When the time come for her to be nice, friendly and charming she can pull it off without batting an eyelash, but don’t let her fool you. There is always something menacing behind her smile and kind words. She is defiantly a force to recon with. Pansy knows what she wants in life and makes no excuses for what she may do to get it.
Influenced by her parents and upbringing. Though the Parkinson's were not Death Eaters, they were extremely conservative and did not view the Dark Lord’s opinions as necessarily wrong; therefore, Pansy viewed Potter and his friends negatively. Besides, Potter and his friends got too much attention and it bothered her. She loves attention and is very sweet on the surface and loyal to her fellow housemates and friends. She can sometimes be seen as manipulative in order to get what she wants. Some see her as a 'mean girl' or a bully which is true in some cases. She comes from a well off family and is also a very pretty girl. She isn't to fond of muggle-borns mainly because she doesn't understand their ways. However doesn't mean she hates them.
Backstory:Pansy’s childhood was ideal – that is, the child never suffered and had everything a young witch could ever want – although her parents were absent quite often. She had a personal tutor and a slew of caretakers while her father worked as a director in the Ministry’s finance bureau and her mother acted as a socialite in the various Bristol circles. Fortunately, many of her relatives lived in the area as did other young witches and wizards, so Pansy was not without friends. Early on she took on a leadership role in her groups of friends, and later, became one of the first young girls to pick up on her mother’s demeanor and purposely exclude some children.

Pansy didn’t take her studies seriously, nor did she ever have to lift a hand in chore. As such, Pansy’s life up until she went to Hogwarts was pampered and easy – all she had to worry about were her various social affairs and meeting her parents’ expectations. Of course, one of those expectations was to attend Hogwarts and become a Slytherin, following family tradition.

Pansy headed off to Hogwarts in September of 1991. Sure enough, as soon as the Sorting Hat hit her head, she was a Slytherin, and proudly so. Pansy already knew many of the children in her year from being brought to various social functions with her mother. She instantly formed a clique against any muggle borns and lesser known individuals, boosting her own self-confidence in the process. Notably, Pansy became quick friends with Millicent Bulstrode, Draco Malfoy, Vincent Crabbe, Gregory Goyle, and Blaise Zabini. In particular, Pansy admired Draco, and was usually quick to change her opinions to match his.

Yes, I love Pansy! I have an OC but I thought maybe playing an actual canon character would be more interesting.
