Getting Away

Cora pulled the scarf tighter around her face. It was so windy out as she walked through Hogsmeade. She was cold and wet from her recent tumble in the snow. You couldn't even imagine how thrilled Cora was to enter the warm and cheery atmosphere of the Three Broomsticks. She paid for her drink and sat down at a table alone. Her eyes wandered around the bar. She noticed a few students drinking and having a good time. Why did she come alone again? She sighed wishing she had gone with someone.

Kiara pushed the door open, and looked around the room. She was exhausted from the large amount of school work she had been given and needed some time to clear her mind. The place was packed with students. None of whom she liked. She would sit alone, but a Hufflepuff girl caught her eye. For whatever reason she sat down across from her with a smirk.

She looked up from her drink to see someone across from her. "Um do I know you?" She asked. She noticed the dark haired girl smirking and looked back at her empty drink. Bad company was better than no company.

"No. But does it really matter?" Kiwi answered. She sipped her drink, making eye contact with the blonde. "I'm Kiwi." She stated and looked around the room again. Why was she talking to this girl? She wasn't entirely sure herself.

He entered the 3 broomsticks, the atmosphere was almost...soothing. He smiled and sat down, waiting.

"Er, I guess not." She caught the girl's eye, she looked familiar. The question was, where had she seen her before. "I'm Cora." She then noticed James and waved.

He nodded to Cora, and looked at the entrance, his eyes narrowed.

"I better be going." Kiwi picked up her bag and paid for her drink. She dreaded going out in the cold.

Cora nodded and wrapped her scarf back around her neck. Time for the cold... She shivered.
