The papers lay strewn across a table in the corner of the pub, away from the window and near the back where little light got through. Lily coughed a little as the movement of the sheets as she registered them all raised a little dust in to the air. "Why are the so many damn students?" she mumbled to herself, finishing the last of the days pile. The ministry had the book that automatically had the names of the kids written in and she really couldn't understand why they wanted her to go through them all too. It was going to be a task that took her all year, but at least that way she'd get to stay at her shack in Hogsmeade and visit the school during the term, it would be nice to see some of her younger friends again, strange as it may seem. She called over for another glass of firewhiskey as she shuffled the papers in to a pile and heaved them in to her handbag. "Thank goodness for the extension spell..." she said aloud to no-one in particular, after all, it was late and she didn't want to be drawing attention to herself.
