Appearance: Remus stands around 6' 5" in human form. Has a fairly muscular build, and shoulder length black hair. His eyes vary between three colours. Purple, his augmented eyes, he has to keep a slight bit of focus to maintain this. Green, his natural colour, he rarely allows this colour to show as it reminds him of his parents. Red, This colour only shows when he is very angry. The more angry he gets the darker the red gets, occasionally turning black when he is completely overcome with rage. He has one fang, permanently it hangs just lower than his other teeth on his left side. He dresses in school attire, although is much more comfortable in jeansa and a shirt, even during the cold weather.
Personality: Generally closed off, he Doesn't really talk to that many people. If the conversation turns to family he will remove himself. He hides more than half of his life from the eyes of others, those who get close to him will find out a lot more than the rumours going around (there are bound to be some going on). He has never really cared for the rules, it was always something that just got in the way. He is not quite to his studies, although he would sometimes rather walk in the grounds than sit in class. Most of his professors however seem to like him.
Backstory: From a very young age, around 3 years old, Remus' abilities were clear to his entire family. At this age was his first transformation, resulting from his father taking away his treasured teddy. His father, Cain Nocte, carried the genes but they were never active. Remus is the only child of Cain, he inherited the Werewolf gene. Remus' Mother began to treat him with more and more distain and hatred since Cains death at Remus' hands. Although he was only a 3 year old child the animal side was very strong. His mother died of a muggle illness when he was 8, The resultant rage caused the destruction of the once glorious household. Remus wandered for a few years, homeless, reliant on his wolf side to collect the food and shelter he needed. Shortly before being accepted and housed at hogwarts he met a young muggle boy, Joshua. This boy would be his only friend for the short year they knew each other. Later giving him the guitar he treasures two days before he was collected by Albus Dumbledore himself to begin his life at hogwarts.
With Remus not having a place to live outside of term time, Albus allowed him to stay in the castle. Taking as many classes as he was allowed, he didn't have much time to socialise with the other students, preferring to keep himself in the company of a few close friends than seeking out popularity.

Remus: Genetic werewolf. The Nocte family a long time ago, possible a few generations ago, were the center of experimentation with Magical Creature genes. They tried to splice the genes of creatures such as Werewolves and Unicorns into that of normal wizarding folk. When volunteers ran short, Noah Nocte put himself forwards. The experimentation had been refined and refined until it was plausible to me mixed together. Noah was the first in a line of werewolves different from the others, less reckless, less savage. with some sort of control over transformations. The experiments were stopped shortly after this. The Nocte family exiled for the damage done to communities and families. The spliced genes can still be found in Nocte family members to this date, although not many of the family itself actually survive.
