With a yawn, Rory walked into the in the Great Hall. Though he had changed his clothes from yesterday, they had the same style. He left the robes again, only wearing the slightly rumpled pants, shirt, sweater vest and sloppily tied tie. The robes didn't quite fit him, they had been Brian's, who not only was bigger than Rory, was older by a few years. He didn't bother looking around for anyone he knew, just sitting down at his table without a thought. There were still some smudges of potting dirt on his face and little under his fingernails.

"I see..." She trailed off, watching Lily. She licked her lips then turned back to the Hufflepuff to see her running across the Hall. Basil thought, picking up another apple, turning it in her hands.

Lily stifled a laugh as the girl ran off. "What did I do?" she asked the Ravenclaw, feigning innocence.

Basil smiled when she saw Rory. She waved to him, then looked back down at the apple in her hands. She didn't know why she ate apples. It seemed that was all she ate these days. She bite into the apple and started to think why she had to eat so many these days...
She laughed as Lily asked the question. "Nothing at all. You're an angel." She said smirking

He leaned back and noticed Lily taking quick glances, he looked back at Ruby again and wondered if Lily had noticed something. He smirked in amusement.

Cecilia stepped into the Great Hall, her eyes roaming the seats, searching, and for some reason she felt strangely disappointed. She mentally slapped herself and made her way over to the Gryffindor table, picking up a mug of coffee and stirring it, watching the liquid swirl around and around.

Ruby drains the rest of the coffee and slams it back on the table. Her eyes were set on Vine carefully as he looked over to the girls she'd been watching, she smirks. "Coming to socialise?" She then gets up and walks over to the group. Ignoring the Hufflepuff, she smiled, folding her arms across her chest. "Hi."

With her eyes still ful of tears, she watched another boy enter the hall. Hm, doesn't care much about his looks, looks good but isn't really sure about himself. Tina pursed her lips and ran her hand trough her hair. Ah, whatever. No one is nice here.

Stretching a bit, he poured a cup of coffee and downed a few gulps. He looked up when someone waved in his direction. With a smile, he recognized the girl and waved back. He wasn't though if he should go over, or if they wanted him to.

Basil made a movement with her hand saying to come over and sit with them. She turned when she heard a voice besides her. She smiled at the Slytherin. "Hello there..."

Lily saw Rory but did not acknowledge him.. She just couldn't. Not any more. Not now he knew. It would be far too dangerous.
She took another glance over at the Slytherin table but forced herself to look away again.
"I know right. Complete Angel" She winked at Basil and laughed.
She looked up at the Slytherin girl who came over, "Hi" she said with a grin.

"I'm Ruby" She tells them, still standing. Ruby didn't smile back, but she wasn't purposefully being rude either. When Cel came inside Ruby smiled inwardly, remembering a few times when she'd wound her up last year. She wasn't too bad... for a Gryffindor.

She laughed at Lily. "Sure.." She turned to the Slytherin who claimed to be Ruby. "Basil Blishwick." She said, nodding to Ruby.

She gestured to the bench, "You can join us if you like Ruby, I'm Lily, Lily Luna Prewett." She didn't offer a hand to shake, and eyed the girl warily.
She waved to Cel as she noticed her.

He snorted at Pansy telling her friends about Draco being the heir, Really, Malfoy?
He knew Lucius was behind the whole operation but his scrawny son couldn't be the heir, of course.
Then he got curious, who was doing the deed for the lord?

"Basil" She said and nodded to the Ravenclaw. Hah. Claws. She really didn't seem to get along with them. "Lily Luna... bit of a mouthful really isn't it?" Ruby said, finally taking a seat. She noticed the way the red head looked at her. Good. The girl should be wary.

Ruby gave a small cough then rested her elbows on the table. Her gaze flickered between the two of them. "Purebloods?" Her guess was that they both were.

She leaves the Great Hall sadly,

It would take Vine only once.. to do anything. He was a skillful wizard, he wouldn't fail.

Cecilia raised her head to see Lily waving towards her and, after a few moments, gave her a slight nod. Her gaze turned to spot Ruby, and she allowed the corners of her mouth to turn up in a slight grin. Despite what had happened, Cel couldn't bring herself to hate the Rowle girl - she was too amusing.

She laughed, "It is really, most people just call me Lily." She wasn't sure if she liked the look of the girl or not but conversed anyway. "Most certainly." she shuddered at the thought of there even being a possibility of.. she couldn't even bring herself to think it.

She nodded to the Slytherin. "Of course." Basil glanced again around the Hall for Hex. It would be the first time she used the potion on purpose. Last time, Snape had looked over her shoulder when she was making it and got a mouthful of the awful stuff. She sniggered and looked down at the table.
