Down for a drink [open]

With a yawn, Rory O'Conner stretched out in the chair he sat in. He had been visiting different places in England, not having been there other than at King's Cross to board the train. England was rather nice, colder than he care it be but nice all the same. He had ordered a butterbeer, which he now sipped at. It was something also not found where he came from, but he found quickly he liked the taste. Rory had first tasted the stuff in his first year, and loved it ever since. He looked around the pub. It was a bit sleepy today. Rory had been staying in a room here upstairs. He quickly found his time to be boring, not having anyone to talk to or anything to do. With another yawn he propped his feet up and downed the rest of his drink.

Hunter walked down the stairs, swiping his hair out of his eyes. He stayed in Londen for a bit longer, cause his mother asked him to, for a unknown reason. He rubbed his eyes and fell down in a chair, waving Tom over. "A coffee please. And make it strong."

Idly Rory watched the other people in the pub, not having anything else to do. He was more than a bit bored. England was as exciting as he thought it would be. He didn't know anyone here. Being in a city at least was interesting. Rory had never really been in a big city before, having only lived with his uncle and aunt at their farm. With another yawn he waved Tom over. "'Ow bout another one, yeah?"

He heared a funny accent and looked up. He saw a young wizard sitting all alone. He shrugged, he was alone too. He sipped his coffee, and looked around too.

Rory tossed the change needed for the drink at the innkeeper. Sitting back he looked around the pub again. He caught the sight of someone who had recently entered the room. He peered curiously for a moment, not having seen anybody who looked like that boy before.

He looked again and saw the other boy looking at him. He grinned and nodded friendly.

Rory noticed the other boy had noticed him and smiled a bit. He gave a half hearted wave.

He grinned and turned back to his coffee, a bit bored.

The Irish boy turned his attention to Tom as he brought Rory his new drink. "Thank ye." He grinned down at the drink, bringing it to his lips.

He sighed bored and decided to go and talk to the boy. He got up and walked over. "Hello. Hogwarts student too, aren't you ? I'm Hunter." He extand his hand.

Lily looked through the door of the Leaky Cauldron.. thinking it sure is quiet in here She hesitates before entering looking for a quiet corner to read a book and have a drink. She wasn't in the mood to socialise however the rustic interior of the inn made it feel homely for her so she paid for a Butterbeer and took a seat overlooking the street.

He smiled at the boy who had walked over. "Spot on. Rory O'Conner, pleased t' meet ye, Hunter." He grinned and shook the hand. Idly he noted the slight difference in the accent with this boy.

"Same here. Can I sit ?" He gestured to the other chair at the table.

"Go ahead." He shrugged and gestured to the chair.

He sat down and placed his cup on the table. "So, what year are you in ? "

"Be in fith 's year." Rory tried his best to stifle his vibrant Irish accent, finding people thought him ridiculous because of it.

She looks up from her book upon hearing the strange mix of accents from a table nearby.. before shrugging it off and going back to reading.

"Ah, thats nice. I'm in my sixth year." He nodded and sipped his coffee. "Did your exams went well ?"

Rory had noticed a girl had come in a bit earlier, but payed her no mind. Idly he wondered about Hunter's accent, finding it a bit different from what he normally heard around here. "I passed." He said with a shrug. So what if studying wasn't his favorite thing to do?

He raised his eyebrows. "You skipped the exams ? Nobody noticed ?" He laughed.

Rory laughed a bit. "I wish." He had just gotten a passing score for the exams, and he was surprised at that. Rory had a hard time sitting still in classes, finding them boring and way too long.

"Ah. Okay." He grinned. "I guess you don't like school either. Well, classes."

Lily looked up from her book again, she wasn't usually one to eavesdrop but the place was so quiet and comments like that got her attention. It was places like this that made her love living with her aunt. She held up her glass to be refilled and dropped some coins on the table before taking a deep breath and returning to her book.

He shrugged a bit. "They just seem a wee bit long 's all."

He laughed. "Yes, thats totally true."
